In Costa Rica, three people died in the three weeks of October. Floods affected the provinces of Guanacaste, Puntarenas and Cartago, where hundreds of houses were flooded.
In Nicaragua, almost all departments of the country were affected. The death toll is 19 people, while 14 of them died in various incidents this week. About 6 thousand houses were damaged or destroyed.
In Guatemala, this Thursday, the first rainy sacrifice was recorded, during a rockfall a man died. Since the beginning of October, 11 thousand people have been affected by the floods, and about a thousand houses have been flooded in five departments of the country.
In Honduras, where 7 departments were affected by floods during the first two weeks of October, a total of 9 people died. 11,552 people were evacuated, 170 schools and 1,143 residential buildings were damaged by flood waters. During the floods, 18 bridges were destroyed and damaged.
In El Salvador, killing six people. 1549 homes in 7 departments of the country were damaged.
